As I said, a kind lady gave us a bag full of fresh lemons. This is how I used a couple of them.



120 gr. flour

120 gr. cornflour

4 eggs

250 gr. butter

250 gr. sugar

2 tsp baking powder

2 lemons (zest and juice)


  • mix your soft butter with 125gr. sugar
  • when you have a smooth, soft mix, add the yolk (one at the time)
  • add your lemon zest
  • now you can add flour, cornflour, baking powder

in a separate bowl mix the egg whites with 125gr. sugar until soft picks form; now you can slowly add your lemon juice. Now you can add it to your previous mixture.

When you have a smooth mix you can pour it in a cake tin and put it in the oven at 180°C for 60 minutes.
